BSU's PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOOLS MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Bridgewater State University Professional Development School (PDS) Partnership draws its purpose and focus from the overarching mission of the BSU College of Education and Allied Studies: To prepare creative, caring, and skilled educators who recognize the importance and value of effective collaboration among colleagues, P-12 students and families. This partnership promotes the development of extracurricular programming for P-12 students; quality professional development for P-12 teachers/administrators and BSU faculty; and the continuous improvement of BSU preservice teacher preparation.  BSU strives to inspire student learning through this shared commitment of engagement, innovation and high quality education.
